I had a wonderful opportunity to recieve an award at the State Capitol a couple of months ago for Student Arts Advocacy. As a representative for Florida Atlantic University, myself and fellow FAU grad, Brianna Handy, were flown to Tallahasee, where we met with members of the House and Senate on issues concerning funding for the Arts in our state.
It was Children's Week at the Capitol and the lobby was decorated beautifully by lots of little hands!
